Super Cats cuddly or deadly? Well if you asked our birds and possum’s they’d say NO WAY to letting super cats into Australia, want to know the reason why? Well have you ever seen a cat just wandering around our streets? Yes, then you probably already know what I’m about to tell you. Cats can kill about 28 birds, 19 possums, 5 reptiles and 16 amphibians in just ONE MONTH. So you see the problem if we import super cats those numbers will double. The super cat is a lot more advanced in many ways than your average domestic cat, it is bigger, faster and stronger. The way the cat was created was they got a domestic cat and a savannah cat and got them to mate and that the super cat was made.
People think that super cats make great pets because they are so active and love going for walks even on a leash, but what about when they aren’t on a leash and they get outside? They will be a danger to our native animals.

The community of Yuendumu has some Aboriginal kids that are into telling their life stories through hip hop, storytelling in hip hop is important because it makes their lives just that little bit more exciting, the reason the kids are doing this is because they want to enter the Wakakirri Festival. The Wakakirri festival is a festival where groups of kids dance and sing about their life stories.
The Aboriginal kids are sing some of their songs in an Aboriginal language to try to keep some of their different languages alive because there are only 200-300 Aboriginal languages left. It is very important for them to go to that festival and express themselves for everyone to hear, which will make them feel much better when they have done all their songs.
But some people say that only Americans can sing hip hop, I say that Auzzies should be able to sing hip hop as well. If they don’t continue to go to the festival then some of the languages could die out.

Mulesing is what happens when a lamb is born, they cut the skin off the lamb’s behind so it won’t get flystrike. Flystrike is almost a disease, it occurs when a fly lays it’s eggs on the lamb’s rear and then the maggots eat the sheep inside out. Flystrike can be prevented by mulesing.
Farmers think the mulesing is pain for only a short amount of time but flystrike is long term pain. The animal rights group think that mulesing is wrong and so the Australian wool Industries are loosing money because there are so many people mad at the farmers for mulesing.
Crutching sheep has disadvantages because the sheep are in a lot of pain when its CHOP CHOP TIME. Mulesing is going to be phased out of Australia in a short amount of time.

Today in Iraq the Australian troops that are training the soldiers in Iraq and the police are going home to their families.
The soldiers have been in Iraq for 6 years, the reason the soldiers are being pulled out of Iraq is because that the government thinks that they have been there long enough. They have had a lot of time spent away from there family.
You could be asking “Why are the soldiers there?”, well heres the answer, the answer is that the soldiers are there because there was a man named Saddam Hussein how was supposedly making deadly weapons, that could wipe out many soldiers and innocent people.
Other countries stayed in Iraq because they were afraid that if they left Iraq would go bad again and some other countries think that if they leave Iraq will be worse than before.
The former government thinks that the Auzzie soldiers should have stayed in Iraq to keep everything running smoothly, I think that all the countries should have left when Saddam Hussein was hanged and now that the Australian soldiers have left the Iraqis will be sad.
My opinion is that Australia shouldn’t have got involved. And that Iraq should be left alone.

Graffiti is an art only when it is used to create many amazing things. When used inproperly it is a horrible site and makes Australia look like a dump, but these five boys are doing a great thing for our country, they are graffiting over the tags people have done on that wall and the police are all for it. The HMAS Sydney was found about 400km off shore of WA near Perth, the investigators have found a body in a life raft, they bought the body to a DNA lab and used the body’s tooth for DNA. The investigators had to use the body’s tooth because the body was so wet his DNA was mixed with the water so they could not put a name to the DNA. To get the DNA they had to drill into the tooth because that was the only part of the body that wasn’t water logged.

Tuna can be worth up to $10,000.Trouble is the fish are starting to run out. People have tuna farms way out at sea. Where they feed the tuna to make them fat. A tuna can weigh up to 200kg.
