Have you ever noticed that fuel prices go up and down throughout the day? Well now there is a program that might stop all that confusion.
The program is called Fuel Watch and people think it make the price of fuel prices stay the same for the whole day. And keep it from going from 15.50 to 20.10 in ten mins.
Fuel watch started in west Australia in the year 2000 that is about 7 and a half years ago. And now the government in VIC think it is a great idea. Fuel watch gets all the petrol companies to tell them the prices they are going to make it tomorrow and then puts it on www.fuelwatch.com so everybody can see were to get a better deal.
But some people think that it a bad idea and that will raise the prices and make it unfair on them. But others think it will lower the prices at there local petrol station e.g. Shell petrol. Most truckies think it is a great idea because they use the most fuel and it will save them money. Some people think petrol is to expensive run out then block up the highway and make huge traffic jams. Fuel prices can also make food prices go up because it takes a ship to get here then a plane ride then a truck ride then an other truck to get it.
The Accc think it will save up to 2 cents a litre. Rising petrol prices has caused my mum to get a job in the city.
This report is about the new way of doing the roll and if you’re wondering it is a finger scanning system. Karinga is one of the first schools to try this method. I think it is a good idea. It would be a lot better than the card system because you cant leave your finger at home
Price fixing is when two companies have a big customer fight to get them to buy their product but then join together and raise their prices so people don’t have a choice.
I personally think that it should be illegal. It is just unfair to the customers especially when it is with something like petrol. Everybody has to use it and to put it up to like 1.40 a litre is just evil.
I think that the amount of teenagers who drink is far too big. All they think they’re doing is having a few drinks and getting drunk but there is a lot more to that. First of all it is unhealthy and dangerous if taken in to much at one time, I heard that one bottle of beer is the same as eating a loaf of bread. Read the rest of this entry »
