Recently the government has been spending lots of money on the athletes that are competing at the 2008 Olympic Games. Lots of people are happy and lots of people aren’t.

People think the government is spending way too much money on athletes and should be spending it on more important things such as medicines and research. Australia used to always lose until the government setup the Australian institute of sport.

Lots of the athletes are happy that the government is spending lots of money on them because they want to be at there best when they go to the Olympics. Lots of Australians want the government to spend money on the athletes because they want to see Australia win.

I think the government should evenly spread the money between everyone.

The world is at risk. Many people are polluting the planet by littering and driving around all the time. The government has tried many ways to stop people polluting such as making petrel prices a lot more expensive and the carbon emissions trading witch makes people pay for the pollution they cause.

Many people are trying there hardest to reduce climate change. They are driving cars less saving power not littering and some even pick up rubbish. They are doing there best while others are polluting and littering lots.

Many people are angry that they have to pay for the pollution they cause and they are protesting. Many people are way to poor to be able to afford to pay for all this stuff. Petrel prices are going higher and higher every week witch is making people angry.

Overall I think people should pay for pollution because it will stop people from polluting heaps.

Fuel Watch

Recently many people have been complaining about petrol prices changing all the time. Just weeks ago the petrol prices have risen up to $1.61 per litre. They say the best day to fill up your car is Tuesday.

A new theme park might start in Victoria if it is built it will be called African safari theme park. Some people don’t want the theme park to proceed because of the animals will have to listen to people screaming all day long and that will hurt there ear’s.
We have zoos so people can comb and look at the different animals.
The theme park is going to be built in Werribee zoo Victoria.
The company is planning on making a theme park
The advantages of a theme park being built at the zoo are that they will make a lot more money and over 7000 people will get jobs.
Werribee open range zoo operates by driving in a bus around the zoo.
Some of the concerns of people against the proposed development are that the animals will be disturbed and get angry.
The government makes the decision about whether the theme park will be built at the zoo.
I think they should make the theme park because they don’t have a big theme park in Melbourne.

surfing

Surfing was really fun I stood up on the board about 18 times. Most of the waves I caught were already broken before I caught them but some were good waves. I came off the board about 6 times.
