Lauren Jackson chose to play Basketball in Russia because it’s famous for being one of the toughest and most popular women’s basketball comps in the world.

Russian people have reacted by her playing in Russia by watching her amazing skills of the 196cm tall Centre.

She has been playing proffesional basketball for 11 years and the Russians want her to play for as long as possible.

Lauren Jackson started off by beating all comers in Australia, before heading over to Korea and then the United States, where she became a world star. Two years ago, she played for Australia in an amazing win over Russia in the World Championship.

The offer to play in russia was hard to refuse because it’s a lot tougher and popular league and it’s 5 x’s higher paid than playing in the WNBA.

Height is an advantage in basketball because it’s easier to get rebounds and smaller players can reject you.

Lauren Jacksons daily routine would be consisted of training and napping. She said it’s worth it.

Being away from Australia is hard because she can’t see friends or family during the season.

She’s excited about the Olympics in Beijing because it’s only a few months away.

Her contribution to womans basketball is high because she trains twice a day and plays 2 matches a week.
